Make a donation

5 reasons to donate

1. Give hope to young people.

Together, we can make a real difference and give young people what they need to look to the future with confidence.

2. Promote the growth of the partners for life program.

Due to a lack of resources, this recognized and valued awareness program only reaches 60% of high school students in Quebec. You can change this.

3. The scientific community supports us.

The dedicated Fondation Jeunes en Tête team counts on their strong network of mental health specialists. We have established a proven track record of success over the past twenty years. One of our founders is the eminent psychiatrist Dr. Yves Lamontagne.

4. Your donation is well managed.

We are a serious, credible organization, governed by a rigorous and experienced board of directors that adheres to the principles of good governance.

5. It's a worthwhile social investment!

Fondation Jeunes en Tête has a real leverage effect on community-funded organizations. Our overall vision for mental health allows us to invest where it is needed most.

Participate in an event

Fondation Jeunes en Tête is a major player in the philanthropy scene.

We are experts at organizing prestigious themed events, which are attended by hundreds of passionate people.

Organized by a dedicated team, numerous volunteers, and sponsors, these events provide funding for the activities of various youth organizations and the deployment of our Partners for Life program. We also create partnerships with companies and organizations that wish to organize charity events.

Here is an overview of the events organized by Fondation Jeunes en Tête throughout the seasons:

Valentine's Day Ball

Since 2004, the Valentine’s Day Ball has brought a number of Montreal business leaders together who wish to express their support for young people in a festive and elegant atmosphere.

Annual golf tournament

For almost 30 years, this sporting event has attracted hundreds of players and partners who are committed to supporting Fondation Jeunes en Tête in its mission..

Bal des lumières

Initiated in 2013, Bal des lumières brings together over 800 guests each year around Fondation Jeunes en Tête, the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal Foundation and the Douglas Foundation while contributing to end stigma surrounding mental illness.

Bal du maire de Québec

Launched in 2011, the Bal du Maire de Québec has become a coveted rallying event in the nation’s capital. The funds collected are used to finance aid organizations in Quebec and Eastern Quebec.

Let’s Bond

Even though Let’s Bond was created by a group of young Montreal professionals, this event, which is a nod to the universe of James Bond, is intrinsically linked to our mission: to break the taboos that persist surrounding mental health. Every year, the ticket sales for this glamorous event shatter records. Conceived by a young and trendy team, this evening also contributes to the work of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute

Organize an event

Do you want to see an adolescent’s eyes light up? Does their hope for a better future touch your heart? Do you want to help replace their dark thoughts with positive ideas and projects? We are looking for people who are passionate and determined to lend a helping hand.

Join the kind-hearted people who, year after year, devote themselves to Fondation Jeunes en Tête. All projects that contribute to youth development are welcome, whether they be from the business community, an association, a school, or a family or group of committed friends.

We’d like to thank you wholeheartedly in advance. And rest assured that we know how to best support your event organiser.

Here are some helpful tips:

1. Define the projet

Whether it’s a corporate event, a spaghetti party, an exhibition, or a bike-a-thon, your event has to be well defined. Set a financial goal, determine your target audience, choose the concept, date, time, and location of the event and put together a committee of dedicated individuals with a variety of talents..

2. Submit the form

Once you’ve established your fundraising activity, complete the form and return it to Fondation Jeunes en Tête as soon as possible for the committee to review..

3. Get the project approved

If your fundraising event is accepted, Fondation Jeunes en Tête will gladly advise you as soon as possible so that you can carry it out.

4. Promote the event

To ensure your success, publicize your event via social media and engage the participation of your loved ones and acquaintances. Fondation Jeunes en Tête will be at your disposal throughout the organization of your event to support you and your different needs: logo, banner, documentation to offer to guests, etc.

5. Remit the funds collected

When your activity is over, it is important to send the funds raised to Fondation Jeunes en Tête within 45 days. Please note that according to provincial and national laws, it can take up to eight weeks to receive your tax receipts.

6. Say thank you!

Finally, it is important to thank the volunteers, sponsors, and participants. In your thank you letter, be sure to mention the amount of money raised and how everyone’s participation contributed to the success of the event.

Need inspiration?

Here are some events organized by valuable partners like you.

A big step for Rebecca

In memory of her daughter Rebecca, who died at the age of 25, Jean Mongeau decided to take on an incredible challenge: to climb Mount Kilimanjaro while raising awareness of the importance to prevent psychological distress among young people. His goal? To collect $58,950 ($10 for every metre scaled of Mount Kilimanjaro), for our Foundation. This project will more specifically encourage the creation of our new presentation, aimed at students from grades 7 and 8, to promote good mental health.

J'ai ma santé en tête

Since 2017, the Foundation of Collège Mont-Saint-Louis organizes every spring a great sporting day for the benefit of our Foundation! Their objective? Reach mental health to physical health through different challenges including running, zumba, walking and spinning! This beautiful program has allowed college students to raise $ 2,585 in 2017 and $ 2,900 in 2018! A growing success that we hope will continue!

Défi Challenge

Organized for the benefit of our Foundation for several years, the Défi Québec 800 Challenge is an invitation to surpass oneself: a 4-day adventure, during which teams of 8 runners take turns for a race of nearly 800 km.

NB Grand Tour

NB Grand Tour is an initiative of the National Bank and its employees. Each year, nearly 150 participants ride their bikes and pedal between 60 and 115 kilometers a day throughout Quebec. Their boldness and enthusiasm help support organizations working with youth in the areas where the tour takes place

Fondation Jeunes en Tête is a proud partner of the National Bank and this sport-focused fundraising event.
